CRAVATTE Desigual Silk
A wide, asymmetrical neckpiece, with one end cut diagonally and the other shaped like an oval leaf. Handwoven and handcrafted from natural, unprocessed silk.
Raw silk is one of ÁBBATTE’s signature yarns. The fibre is preserved in its original state, just as it emerges from the cocoon. Neither glossy nor soft to the touch, it has a subtle, muted lustre and a natural body that allows it to hold its shape and create sculptural volume.
Approximate dimensions: 115 × 16 cm.
The new CRAVATTE collection celebrates embellishment and adornment as pleasures in their own right. Three designs exploring different textures, shapes and movement, to be worn with formal attire or as part of everyday dress.
The neck has long been a place for self-expression and creativity. CRAVATTE draws inspiration from the refined elegance of George ‘Beau’ Brummell, rooted in the beauty of noble materials, and the unconventional spirit of Oscar Wilde.
CRAVATTE celebrates playfulness, creativity and the pleasure of surrounding oneself with beauty. It dictates no particular style. Open to everyone, it invites each wearer to make it their own.
Every ÁBBATTE piece is crafted entirely by hand; from dyeing the fibres and weaving them on traditional looms to the most meticulous finishing touches. This artisanal process takes time, but it allows us to care for every detail. We are proud that all our artisans come from Collado Hermoso and its surroundings in Segovia; most of them women who keep this craft alive.
Once you have placed your order, we will get in touch to confirm the delivery and arrange the best way to bring your piece to you. We always strive to make this moment as personal and special as the creation process itself.
If you have fallen in love with one of our pieces but it does not match the colours or dimensions you need, we can make it especially for you and guide you through every step of the design process.
